Looking for yummy Halloween recipes to serve your gluten-free kid at home or school? See our picks for gluten-free Halloween treats your child can safely enjoy this holiday!

As Halloween season draws nearer, you’ve probably been thinking ahead about what to serve your kiddo at the upcoming neighborhood Halloween party, or the in-school class parties.

Because when there are kids and parties involved, we all know there’s bound to be some sort of sweets. This can pose quite the challenge when trying to keep your gluten-free kids away from the wrong treats that can cause them health issues.

We want to include our kids in the holidays and festivities their peers are participating in, but we need to do so safely when they have issues like celiac disease.

Personally, I know how challenging it is to tell your kid “no you can’t have that.” So today, I wanted to share some delicious gluten-free Halloween treats and recipe ideas you can say “yes” to and include at the dessert table or bring to a class party!

These recipe ideas are fun and festive, and sure to please your picky-eater newly transitioning to the gluten-free diet.

NOTE: Because celiac disease is a real concern, if you are at all worried about any of the added flavors or toppings, like sprinkles or candy eyes needed to complete many of these Halloween recipes, always check with the manufacturer directly. Although most sprinkle brands aren’t made with gluten, some may be processed in facilities that handle wheat…making cross-contamination a concern. However, Wilton Cakes claims their candy eyeballs are gluten-free. And I recommend you choose a sprinkles brand that is specifically labeled gluten-free. You can check this gluten-free candy list for updates.
